Nota Fiscal Eletrônica
Brazil's electronic invoice standard. NF-e XMLs contain ICMS tax breakdowns, NCM codes, and transport data.
NF-e (Nota Fiscal Eletrônica) is Brazil's mandatory electronic invoice for goods, introduced in 2008 and governed by SEFAZ (State Treasury Departments). Every goods transaction in Brazil must generate an NF-e XML with a unique 44-digit access key (chave de acesso). The XML contains detailed tax breakdowns including ICMS (state VAT), IPI (federal excise), PIS/COFINS (social contributions), and NCM product classification codes.

NF-e is for B2B goods transactions. NFC-e (Nota Fiscal de Consumidor Eletrônica) is the simplified version for B2C retail. InvoSnap supports both formats.
NCM (Nomenclatura Comum do Mercosul) codes are 8-digit product classification codes used across Mercosur countries. InvoSnap extracts NCM codes from each line item in the NF-e XML.
The 44-digit chave de acesso embeds the CNPJ, series, number, and a check digit. You can validate it at the SEFAZ portal (nfce.sefaz.rs.gov.br or similar). InvoSnap extracts the key but does not validate it.
Upload your NF-e XML invoice and get structured data in seconds.
